Turkey. The place where my appreciation for Turkish Delight took on a whole new meaning. Always being a fan of the exotic sugary sweet dessert, tasting the real thing, from a real Turkish market, made from a real, old recipe (especially crafted for tourists palette like me) made me realise that we Australians have no idea how to make desserts. We claim we made the pavlova, but even that these days is debatable. So enjoy the little snapshot of Turkey above, please excuse the blurriness - it is a combination of deadly snap and run street journalism (read: trying not to get caught taking photos) and fitting the dimensions of the blog.
