PIECES OF HOME - THE OFFICE, WITH AN IRON, AND SOMETHING FROM THE SIXTIES

In the office there is a cabinet, an old clock and lots of books.  This gorgeous vintage timepiece belonged to a friend's father, and still works just beautiful in perfect time.  The desk and drawers are Moroccan inspired and the doorstop is an iron - the ones that coal used to work by filling it with hot coals from the fire!  Covering a box full of photos is part of an Iranian dress our father used to wear when he back packed around the Middle East in the 60s (he hails from London - so he was trying not to look like the odd one out!)  Oh, and Lara loves pens.  A lot.  I may have to make a separate post for that though.  She literally has 1000's of them (she collects them.  Weird)

  1. Love the cute little knick knacks and unique touches to the office, that's what I try to strive for in my home. Unique and personal items that have a special meaning to me or things that just look cute, either way!
