FUR.VELVET.AND.GRANDFATHER.CLOCKS.

I am totally in love with this faux fur capelet that I picked up at the local market!

We shot this inside my best friends parent's house.  It is in a small country town out west and is literally a living museum of an old 50's style house. It is FULL with vintage treasures - like this grandfather clock in the background.  Given to my friends mum by her father, this clock is 80 odd years old and has the most amazing curved glass window and finishes that make it just that little bit more special.  They get an elderly gentleman from the next town in to tune it specially as it has something to do with the weights on the bottom.  Their house has a massively high ceiling with moulded plaster detailing and the most intricate parquetry flooring.  Its just perfect.  I felt rather regal in my jewels and faux fur buzzing around the house taking pictures!
